We stayed in one of the roomy cabins, and the basics were great: cold A/C, a hot shower, soft linens, and a good TV. Even the mirrors and lighting were flattering. The property was gorgeous, and the breakfast we requested was delicious. We also visited Chalk Bluffs while we were there, which was super relaxing and chill. 10/10, definitely recommend!

Breakfast was delivered right on time, and it rivals, if not beats, the food at top hotels. The suite was spacious with classic Texan decor, and the bed was comfortable, with linens and bedding comparable to a 4-5 star hotel. I’ve stayed in plenty of places from Massachusetts to Texas, and this B and B is among the best. I didn’t get to try the pool or hot tub, though they looked inviting.

The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and breakfast was wonderful, beyond what we expected. Gal was super friendly when making our reservation and made sure we had all the information we needed before arrival. It’s a great place to stay. I’d definitely recommend it and hope we can come back.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious, and the courtyard adds a lot to the atmosphere. Check-in was very easy, and it’s close to town while still being quiet. We didn’t use any of the services, but it was a pleasant surprise and definitely good value.

I checked out the usual hotel chains and none of them impressed me. Then I came across Live Oaks Bed & Breakfast Uvalde and knew it was the right fit. It’s a hidden gem. I’d give it more than five stars if I could. Thanks for a great stay.
