Extended Stay America Suites Sacramento Vacaville

The front desk woman was great, very friendly and helpful, and both check-in and checkout were quick. Breakfast was simple, just as the website says, so that wasn’t a surprise. There’s plenty of parking, and the rooms are large, with a refrigerator and cooktop. The location is handy, close to Vacaville Premium Outlets and lots of places to eat. We did spot stains on the floor, and I’m pretty sure I saw a cockroach.

We ended up making an unplanned holiday stop at the Extended Stay in Vacaville after taking a pet to UC Davis Small Animal ER. We were too tired to drive home. The rooms were clean, and the price was very low. If Keisha is your Guest Services Rep, you’re lucky. She has a photographic memory for people’s names, both humans and animals, and a wonderful, lively personality. She greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. Keep her happy with raises and responsibilities. She’s a real gift to the team. Happy New Year!

My husband and I booked a room around 11:20 p.m. and got there at midnight, only to be told by the front desk girl that there were no rooms like the one we’d booked. She gave us a double bed, which was fine, but things got bad after that. Our room was 304 on the third floor, and there was no elevator, so we hauled all our bags up three flights. At the top, there was a terrible smell, almost like cigarettes and strong curry. The room itself smelled almost like feces. A bug ran across the counter. On a closer look, it was a roach, and then three more baby roaches appeared. It completely freaked me out. There were four roaches right there, so I figured there could be hundreds more. We went back downstairs and showed the employee our video of them. She said she knew there were roaches. She’d worked there about six months and had known about them for five. She said she’d told the managers multiple times months earlier, but they hadn’t done anything. It’s disgusting. There was a man smoking at the bottom of the stairs, which I didn’t think much of until my husband and I went outside and saw people standing around who didn’t look well intentioned. This hotel needs to be bug-bombed or shut down. This is the kind of thing you see in Vallejo, definitely not Vacaville. Get it together.

The front desk team, especially manager Jenna and the two maids, Carmen and the older Mexican lady, have been the best part of our longer stay at Extended Stay. They’re always friendly and handle our needs and requests quickly and efficiently. The two maids amaze us with how hard they work while staying cheerful and friendly. Jenna and her staff make sure we have everything we need.
