Red Roof Inn Valdosta - University

I was told this hotel had a three star rating, but based on our rooms I don't believe it deserves that. Maybe one and a half stars, but certainly not three, or even the two Google gives it. The linens were dirty and didn't fit the mattress. There were black specks I assumed were dead bugs and short, thick hairs on the sheets. The toilet handle was broken in the first room we saw, then broke again in the third room we stayed in. Sam was really friendly and accommodating. After talking with him, it sounded like both the linen company and the cleaning service were lacking. My girlfriend and I have lived in and traveled to developing countries, and these rooms were below that standard. Very disappointing, since Red Roof Inn has always been reliable for cleanliness and comfort.

The rooms are spacious and extremely clean, and the hot tub was a bonus we really enjoyed. Customer service is friendly and top notch. The price is quite fair, and the Valdosta location has always treated us well. Ref Roof in is my hotel of choice.

The room was clean and had plenty of space. The man who checked us in was very friendly. The furniture is showing its age and wear, but I'd stay here again.

The price was affordable, and the employee who helped me was very sweet. My stay was okay overall, though I was somewhat disappointed to find a couple of small roaches in the room.
