Courtyard Dayton North

The hotel was quiet, and the rooms were nice with comfortable beds. The shower was pleasant, with plenty of hot water and strong pressure. We also had friendly service from the Front Desk staff and the in-lobby Cafe Bar. We'll come back next time we visit our family.

Christy made my stay smooth and memorable. She was warm, professional, and welcoming right from arrival, and she knew the hotel and the surrounding area well. She handled requests efficiently and with a positive attitude. She clearly cares about making guests feel valued and respected, and makes sure the details are taken care of. She's a real asset to the hotel, and I'd gladly return knowing she might be there.

The hotel is actually nice and has a lot of potential, which makes this even more disappointing. I was checked into a room that hadn't been cleaned: trash cans and a table were in the middle of the floor, there were long black hairs on the pillow, big crumbs on the floor, and no towels or toilet paper. They were booked up, so we couldn't switch rooms. I've never had a hotel give a paying guest a room like that, or paid over $200 a night and had to clean it myself as soon as I walked in. I can't imagine returning after this.

Shawn, the Marriott maintenance man on duty during our weekend stay in the terrible snowstorm, was compassionate and respectful. He worked hard, shoveling the driveway several times, and was always a call away when we needed help. He wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. I hope his effort doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks again, Shawn, for making our stay so good. I'd recommend this Marriott in the Dayton area to my peers.
