Motel 6 Dayton, OH

There was no heat in any of the rooms, and we were told to use space heaters. Some rooms were broken in or kicked in, the elevator didn't work, and there was garbage all around the property. The office room TV didn't work either. We had to go down to the office to warm food because the rooms had no microwaves or refrigerators. People were living there, probably because of problems with their own housing, so it seemed meant for homeless people rather than out-of-town visitors. They lied to get us there, then the place was disgusting and disappointing. The manager and maintenance man didn't seem to care about the property. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I'm sorry for the people who had to live there. God bless them, and I hope they find a better place. This is a disgusting place.

The room had no heat in the middle of January, and rain came inside because the door was broken. I was charged $100 for a room that felt like a health and safety hazard while traveling with my young granddaughter. I was exhausted and didn't notice the overcharge at check-in. There were also homeless people loitering on the property, passed out on the sidewalk. I pray we don't get sick after staying there. Never again!

The staff are friendly and helpful, the room is clean, and I've never had a problem checking into one that wasn't. There are convenient food choices nearby. In my opinion, this is one of the better places to stay on miller lane.

During an interstate trip, I stopped here and would have left if I could have canceled the booking. I killed at least 4 cockroaches, while many more got away, and saw smaller insects on the walls and in the bathroom. There was a thick layer of dust under the bed and table, and stains on the sheets. There's more, but I don't want to write a book. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I'd rather sleep in my car than ever visit a Motel 6 again.
