Motel Plaza

The property seemed badly dated and poorly maintained, and it wasn’t very clean. I had to ask for the sheets to be changed. It’s a cash-only business, and the place reminded me of motels known for illegal activity. I don’t recommend it.

I’ve only been staying here a few days, but I want to push back on the negative reviews. The rooms are cozy, clean, quiet, and safe, and there are no bedbugs. Bobby and his wife have been nothing but kind to me. I’m relocating to Vermillion after losing my mother because I wanted to be closer to family. I think it’s awful to outright lie and say nasty things when this is someone’s livelihood. I wonder if some of those reviews are really about trying to get something for nothing. Be honest.

For my fishing trip I only needed a bed and shower, and the room was clean. The air conditioning worked fine, the rates were very reasonable, and the manager was nice and polite.

We’ve been coming to this motel for years, usually for a week every summer and for weekend stays whenever we can. Usha and Bob are wonderful, and the rooms have always been very, very clean. We’ve had excellent visits every time and highly recommend the motel.
