Courtyard Victoria

The bartender was the one bright spot. She was amazing, remembered me, and knew what I liked and how I liked it. The rest of the week was disgusting. We got there and I had to go buy cleaning supplies before unpacking for a week. I've done housekeeping for Hilton, so I know what a room should look like. We were missing a pillowcase, the trash hadn't been emptied, the floors weren't vacuumed, and there was black mold in the shower. The hallways smelled so bad I had to hold my breath. I wasn't paid in full for a WEEK AN day, and someone accused me of playing my music too loudly at 2 in the afternoon. Don't leave your ID in the room, either, because they won't give you a new key. Never again. I've stayed at Motel 6 places better than this.

The hotel and restaurant staff are kind and wonderful. The rooms seem to be falling behind on maintenance, though. Our first room had a broken TV, the second had a fridge that wasn't cooling, and the bathroom sink only had hot water.

Brenda, the customer service representative, was patient and kind, and made sure I had everything I needed. Angel, the attendant and bartender, was friendly and welcoming as well. The whole atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable. I'll definitely book here again and hold future events at this location!

The location was convenient for getting around, yet still peaceful, and our room was clean, comfortable, and had a wonderful view. The staff were friendly, professional, and knew the area well. Their recommendations for local restaurants and activities made our visit even better. I'd highly recommend staying here when you visit Victoria.
