For the price, it's a nice catch. The place is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the TV is a good size. Rooms are tidy, though you get what you pay for, and the bathroom window was covered in duct tape. The service desk guy seemed a little rude, but when I reported the clogged toilet, he offered to bring a plunger. I said I didn't want to deal with it and thought we could wait until my boyfriend finished work, but he said he'd take care of it. He came right over and fixed it. I'd recommend it. :)

The rooms are quite big and kept clean, and I had no problems with the room or owners. Customer service was okay. It's a decent place to stay for work in Victoria or nearby, with lots of restaurants close by and Walmart not far away.

I never checked into the room because Expedia had booked the wrong hotel, and the reservation was canceled. We just need the rest of the money refunded.

Having a filtered water dispenser in the lobby was a real plus. I can't remember its name, but it was the best-tasting water I've had, even though I have a filtration system at home. You can fill a cup or a bottle. The hotel was recently remodeled, and I liked the bright paint, wallpaper, and furniture. My A/C had an issue, but they fixed it right away; the beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff and maintenance guy were really nice. Breakfast is available, though I didn't try it. Keep in mind there's no coffee maker in the room and the ice machine is only on the first floor. It's a little hard to find, but worth it if you want a decent hotel without spending a lot.
