Executive Residency by Best Western Victorville

The suite had a proper kitchen with a stove, sink, and enough room to use it, plus a fridge. We appreciated having a couch mattress too, which worked well for our family of four. The room was spacious and very clean, from the bathroom and towels to the floor and sheets. The front desk staff were kind and great to deal with.

The elevator seemed a little worn in how it ran, and my sheets were ripped when I arrived. I still give the place a 4, but I don’t know how housekeeping missed those sheets while making the bed. The smell in the room was bad for several days, so I had to buy air freshener. It seemed to clear up around my fourth day. They’d run out of body wash because that product had been discontinued, though they had small bars of soap instead. The AC kept blowing cold air even when I switched to heat or turned it off. I asked them to send maintenance, but I don’t know what they did. I think the smell and cold air may have contributed to me catching a cold. If my company hadn’t required me to stay, I would’ve left as soon as I got there.

Parking is limited, and there was some homeless activity around the property late at night. Still, this place rocks. I needed somewhere cheap and quick, so I booked it after seeing that it was fairly new and the online rate was good. I usually research every hotel, restaurant, bar, or mall before going, but this time I didn’t. The young woman at the front desk was professional and very nice when I checked in around midnight, though I didn’t get her name. The room was spectacular for the price, and really just spectacular in general. It felt like a mini apartment, with a separate bedroom behind a door and a living area with a pullout couch. There was also a dining peninsula and a full kitchen with a stovetop, full-size fridge, dishwasher, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. The ceilings were super high, which made it feel even more spacious, and there were separate TVs in the bedroom and living area. It’s practically brand new, which is a big plus. Pics included.

The rooms were great for the price, and this was the only place we could find with two separate bedrooms and three beds in one of them. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating.
