Econo Lodge Virginia Beach Town Center

Glad I only had to stay one night. The room was dirty, the bed left a lot to be desired, and the phone didn’t work. People upstairs sounded like they were remodeling until after midnight. Since I couldn’t use the phone, I had to get dressed and go to the office to ask them to make it stop. The noise continued for about 30 minutes after that, then finally quieted down. The water was lukewarm at best, and I had just one towel, with no washcloth or hand towel.

Norman was pleasant to deal with, and my room was clean, cozy, and quiet. I didn’t see any bugs. It’s in a handy spot between Town center and the oceanfront, so you can avoid the stuffy traffic, and there are plenty of restaurants within five miles. I had an excellent stay at this econo lodge and would recommend it to anyone visiting Virginia Beach. I’ll be making a reservation for labor day.

The room was clean, with a fresh bed, and the shower was pretty good. They left soap and shampoo, which was a plus, and there was hot coffee in the morning. It was a decent stay. There’s also a great Mexican restaurant right next door, and the food was awesome.

The room looked nothing like the photos online. I asked for a refund as soon as I saw it because I didn’t feel safe staying there. People were sitting outside in folding chairs.
