I found the atmosphere quiet and relaxing, and the property was well cared for. The rooms are roomy and clean, with comfortable beds and full kitchens that make them feel more like home. Staff were professional, friendly, and helpful during the stay. Residence Inn is a dependable, convenient option for a work trip or a vacation, whether you’re staying a few nights or much longer.

We were there for 60 days after a flood at our house, and the clean, modern hotel was comfortable given the situation. Pets were allowed, which was great. We took our dachshunds to doggie day care every day so they weren’t left unattended. The staff were consistently welcoming, and I really enjoyed the hotel and the people during our stay. Still, I’m left feeling sour about my robe disappearing. We had to leave before restoration was done, and while rushing to another hotel I accidentally left a nice robe on the bathroom door. I’d also lost a belt during the stay but never mentioned it to housekeeping, figuring things sometimes just grow feet and walk away. The morning after we checked out, I called about the robe in lost and found. The front desk confirmed no one was in the room right away, then sent housekeeping to look. It was gone and never turned in. They said they’d call if it turned up. I think this is a housekeeping issue that needs to be addressed in training. And Alexis, you were right that I left it behind by mistake. I called first thing the next morning hoping it had been turned in, so thanks for making me feel like it was all my fault.

The place seems fairly new, with a spacious lobby and dining area. Rooms are large and very clean, and I liked the modern kitchen and shower. The bed was firmer than I prefer, though I still slept well. Breakfast is included from 6-9 a.m., and parking is free too. The gym is simple but roomy, and there’s a nice-sized indoor pool. We felt safe and secure here, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The location is a big plus, with town center about three minutes away for restaurants and nice scenery. The rooms were very clean, and most of the facilities, including the gym, main lobby, and pool, were well maintained. In the afternoon, the two people at the front desk were kind and helpful. It’s a great hotel in Virginia Beach’s center, and I’d recommend staying here.
