The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the pool was nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hallways were a little warm, but otherwise things were good. Parking is off-site, though less than a minute away. The location is great, with the pier practically in the backyard and a little fair down the road. The restaurant inside the hotel is nice too, and you should try the egg rolls. It was our first time in Virginia Beach, and we’ll definitely be back!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and getting to the beach just meant crossing the boardwalk. Sarah at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and recommended a great restaurant. The Calypso downstairs could get loud at times with karaoke and live music. The shower was awful, with lukewarm water and barely any pressure.

The place didn’t seem maintained, and there were stains on nearly everything, from the couches and floor to the ceiling. Our room was poorly cleaned. Behind the furniture, my infant found a hair bonnet and jeans left behind. Under the couch were a beer cap, an empty Reese’s package, and wrappers, which really worried me because my baby is allergic to peanuts. There were fingernail clippings in the middle of the floor too. I was also disappointed that the first-floor public restroom had no changing table.

We could walk easily to shops and places to eat, and the ocean view from our super-clean room was lovely. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, were so nice and helpful the whole time. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks for a great visit!
