Breakfast was a great chance to mingle with the other guests and get tips about nearby attractions from them and the owners. The owners cooked for everyone each morning and were very nice. There are, I believe, three guest rooms, each with its own bathroom. Everything was clean and well kept, and the B&B is about seven minutes from the entrance to Volcano National Park. An awesome place to stay.

The host was kind and gave us lots of tips for getting around. We stayed two nights while visiting Kona and found the place cozy, clean, and welcoming. The price felt reasonable for the quality.

This place is at the end of the road, and many visitors have apparently been pranked by the host's son. I wasn't one of them, but here's what happened: the scrawny little bloke supposedly took lava from the nearby volcano and dumped it on unsuspecting guests at random. If you feel lucky, you're welcome to stay here.

A great base for visiting volcanoes NP. The host couple are welcoming and know a lot about the parks and the island.

The host is lovely and pays extremely close attention to detail. I was very comfortable, and liked that they kept the house so dry by running a dehumidifier all the time.
