Our rental camper broke down and left us stranded for the night, but we found a room here. It was a lovely little oasis: clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a nice hot shower with great water pressure. Hanapepe and Koke’e state park are both close by. Mahalo for taking such good care of us.

A hidden gem that worked perfectly for us. We were in town for a baseball tournament at the Waimea baseball field, just a minute away. It’s quiet and couldn’t have suited us better. The only drawback is that it’s far from town if that’s where you need to go. Otherwise, it was great.

The room was lovely, with a little kitchen, a large bathroom, and a very comfortable bed with squishy pillows. Laundry is available on site. From the shared second floor back balcony, you can look over the horse ranch toward the ocean. The hospitality made the stay for us. Every woman I met there was friendly and helpful. I was offered fresh mango, pickled mango, and even a grapefruit type melon to try. We really enjoyed staying here. Check out The West Inn and enjoy Waimea!

Our Airbnb canceled the night before we flew to Kauai, and we were lucky The West Inn had room for us. The staff were amazing and gave us lots of helpful recommendations. Everything was quiet and relaxing in this historic town, and our room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. We had a great stay and would absolutely come back. We’ll recommend it to our friends who visit from Oahu often, like we do.
