After staying at several Walla Walla places on earlier visits, I know where I’d choose next time: The GG Mansion & Inn. The inn itself feels like a destination, quite apart from the region’s famous wines. Its elegant, comfortable rooms are finished with so much care, and the owner’s art and remarkable Louis Vuitton trunk collections give the place a character of its own. Carrie, thank you for making this such a memorable, bucket-list stay. It’s hard to find the right words for how beautiful and distinctive it is.

Karrie had great suggestions for restaurants, golf, and wine tasting, and she and Brian really made sure we had everything we needed. We were given a two-night stay at the GG Mansion in Walla Walla by a family member, and it was such a fun, eclectic place. Karrie greeted us outside with Brian and a couple of glasses of a delicious drink she’d made. Our Champagne Suite was spotless and homey, with a really comfortable bed. We’re already looking forward to staying there again when we return to Walla Walla.

Karrie even set up a private wine tour for the two of us, and it was just right. We visited three wonderful Walla Walla wineries, each with its own feel and great wines, and came away having learned a lot. The weekend at the GG was a relaxed, personal getaway, and we can’t wait to return. The inviting decor, thoughtful room amenities, delicious food, and warm hospitality made this fabulous B&B better than we expected.

We’ll be back as soon as we can. Wandering through the lovely neighborhood was a great extra, and the GG itself kept offering one fun surprise after another, inside and out. The hosts were wonderful, the bed was comfy, and the shower felt luxurious. We had the best time and could go on about it.
