Wort Hotel

Our flight was canceled, and we needed a room in a hurry. There was just one left, in a construction zone. Stephanie explained what to expect and discounted the room, and she, Tara, and the rest of the team were welcoming and accommodating when we were in a pinch. The room was cozy and comfortable. The charm and history of The Wort made our trip to Jackson. We’ll be back, and I’d recommend the hotel. Thank you.

We booked just after Thanksgiving, and seeing people turned away today made it clear why reservations fill up fast. The Christmas buffet was laid out beautifully, with a cocktail area, dessert station, carving station, and plenty of sides. Everything we tried tasted great, an easy five out of five for me. The hotel itself is stunning, from the carved doors and paintings on the second floor to the lovely atmosphere. The staff were sweet and accommodating, and we enjoyed chatting with the gift shop attendant. I can't remember our waitress's name, but she was wonderful too. They also have a similar buffet for Thanksgiving. We were thrilled with the visit and can't wait to come back.

After skiing, it was so nice to come back to fresh baked cookies and a cozy, quaint hotel. The Wort Hotel has historic charm but still feels comfortable and welcoming. We could walk to restaurants, shops, and activities around Jackson Hole, so we never needed a car. The staff were warm, attentive, and professional from the minute I arrived. This has become my standard for a stay in Jackson Hole, and I won't choose another hotel when I visit. Such a memorable trip, and thanks to the staff.

We parked at the front and walked everywhere. There’s free pull-up parking by the entrance, as well as valet and free parking. It was easy, and the location made getting around convenient. The hotel is pricey, though everything in Jackson is, and the little touches and convenience felt worth it. The stairs are worth knowing about: there are some up to the lobby and second floor, and down to the spa. There is an elevator at the back, but with my bad knee I hobbled up and down instead of going back there and then to our room at the front. I noticed an older gentleman doing the same. The concierge was lovely and could help with luggage or pretty much anything. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We had a great meal downstairs at the Silver Dollar, and the spa was amazing. Robin in the gift shop was helpful and lovely. Even when check-in was busy, the service was great. The historic hotel is full service and decorated in a beautiful traditional western style. We had a blast at The Wort.
