SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Warner Robins AFB

The breakfast bar had pancakes, pastries, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, and cereal, so it had everything I could imagine needing. My teen and I stayed for a couple of days, and the room with two queen beds was just right. The place was super clean and the staff, including the front desk people, were very friendly. We'll stay again when we're back if they have a room available.

The room smelled nasty, and there was only warm water in the sink. They had no pool or gym, and breakfast was a joke: old fake eggs, one slice of white bread in the bread box, terrible orange juice that seemed watered down, and no fruit. When I tried to switch rooms because I didn't feel safe in the outside room, they refused because we had booked online. Inside rooms were available, and I would have paid the difference. I think an owner can move a customer, especially when they raise a safety concern. Customer service was seriously lacking, and the woman at the desk seemed not to care at all. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. This is a cheap, low-end motel, not a hotel.

We asked for a noon check-in, though we didn't arrive until 2pm. The room door was open with a cart in front, no one was around, and the room still hadn't been cleaned. We waited ten minutes for someone to show up, then another ten while they did a hasty job, leaving us just 20 minutes to get ready for a wedding. There was food left in the freezer, the toilet seat wasn't clean, and the floor hadn't been vacuumed in quite some time. Ants were showing up around the room. The sheets felt like sandpaper and the pillows like plastic. One of my worst hotel stays, especially since the place wasn't busy.

We were told we could do laundry at the hotel, but after we put in $2 worth of quarters, they told us the machines didn't work. The bathroom ceiling was leaking heavily too. The front desk knew about the leak, but wouldn't move us to another room.
