I've never had a worse hotel stay. My room was filthy: hairs covered the supposedly clean sheets, there was what looked like fecal matter on the toilet seat, and something smeared on the couch that I hoped was chocolate. I had cleaning supplies with me, so I cleaned it myself. The bed was very hard. The bathroom floor sloped so shower water ran along the wall, out into the entryway, and pooled by the closet, soaking some carpet. The bathroom light was directly above the shower, too, and the room I was given was right over the front entrance and across from the elevators. Noise came from everywhere, with people running in the hall at all hours, things being thrown around and loud music and yelling in nearby rooms, and stomping above. It sounded like there was no sound barrier at all. A couple's domestic dispute started on my floor, and I could hear it all the way down the elevator, through the lobby, and outside. Many guests were inconsiderate, and management has work to do. I'm sure management will send a generic reply about looking into my complaints, but I'm writing this for future guests.
