We had a great two-night stay in a suite. The price was extremely reasonable, so the value is high. It’s a characterful, old-timey place, and the service at the front desk, bar, and restaurant was professional. I much prefer this to the big, sterile branded hotels. I highly recommend it.

The café served a great breakfast, and the service was nice. The location is very good for the price. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. The place isn’t modern, but its historic feel makes it better.

A cozy, charming little bar downstairs. It’s got a lovely fireplace and Moroccan/Turkish-style tables and lamps. The warm, quiet feel reminded me of a bar in a private members’ club.

This was our second visit, and Hotel Lombardy is our DC go-to. The staff are amazing, and we love the rooms. We were upgraded to a suite while celebrating my wife’s birthday and Valentines Day. The café was really nice, and the food was fantastic. If you enjoy staying in a historic building with lots of character, Hotel Lombardy is for you.

I’d stay at Hotel Lombardy again if I needed to. I used points for this visit and found it comfortable and clean, which are the two main things I look for. You can tell it’s an older hotel from the old appliances and outdated electronics, but the ambiance feels like part of the reason to stay.
