Pure Voyage Shaw

Months after booking with Pure Voyage in Washington DC and paying a $300 deposit, I've received neither service nor my money back. I've called and emailed repeatedly without an answer or any resolution. Customer service feels nonexistent, and it feels like they took my money and ghosted me. Completely frustrating and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and don't trust this business with your time or money.

I'm disappointed by the lack of empathy and judgment. I couldn't arrive in time for my reservation because my daughter had a chickenpox complication and her doctor had quarantined her. They still wouldn't refund me, saying their policy came first, and wanted to charge an extra $50 per day for parking. I understand that there's a policy, but with some empathy and judgment we could've reached a fair agreement. That's my complaint.

Pure Voyage Shaw cancelled our Booking.com reservation on the day we were due to arrive, even though we'd paid in full a month earlier. They said the full refund would come in seven days, and finding somewhere else to stay that day was stressful. When it didn't arrive, I contacted Booking.com. It took eight phone calls, several emails, and bank statements showing no credit. Four months after the cancellation, Booking.com finally refunded us themselves. I asked Booking.com to remove Pure Voyage Shaw from its site, but they haven't done so yet. Please don't book this motel.

Most of the people there were very welcoming, and the place was pretty nice. It seems suited to all kinds of visits, whether you're traveling alone, with family, or for work.
