We booked through a third party and weren't told the pool was closed. There's no elevator at this location. They did let us bring our dog for a fee, which was good.

The bed springs made so much noise we were awake all night, and staff brushed us off when we asked for help. In the room, the TV, phone, and clock didn't work. There was no sink plug and only one tiny bar of soap. The windows were so dirty it was hard to see out. Breakfast was nearly nonexistent, with coffee as the only drink. We paid $148 a night and weren't offered any reimbursement. 😣

I sleep well here, and Pizza Ranch is right next door. I'm on a budget, and this has become my favorite place to stay in Watertown. The corridors are inside and the floors are carpeted. At first they put me in a room under renovation with no bed, but when I complained they moved me to a better room that worked.

For the roughly $79 and change I paid, I used the washer and dryer and had a nice bathroom in Room 210. The shower and tub were one inviting, clean unit, and I used the tub for a bubbleless bath. The free breakfast was simple but enough, especially for little ones: eggs, apples, wheat or white toast with butter or jam, Quaker oatmeal packets with milk or water, Yoplait yogurt, coffee with flavored creamers or Swiss Miss cocoa, mini donuts, Frosted Flakes or Froot Loops with milk, and frosted cherry and other Pop-Tarts. The one real letdown was that guests couldn't use the heated pool or hot spa, and they weren't expected to be available anytime soon. I might have expected a small discount for that. Otherwise, I would have rated it five for what I expected.
