Travel Inn

It's a basic, clean hotel with pleasant staff, nothing fancy. During our stay, the room wasn't cleaned, and we ran out of toilet paper and clean towels. There was no Kleenex in the room, just an empty box in the bathroom when we checked in. There wasn't a hot breakfast. To be fair, I don't think they advertised what kind of breakfast they served.

The staff, from room service to the front desk, were kind and very helpful. The breakfast was great too. This hotel has been amazing. Thanks so much.

The weekly rate is hard to beat anywhere in town, so I’m planning to stay at Travel Inn for the rest of my work time here. I’ve been here two weeks after trying another motel across town, and I’ve had no complaints. The owners are friendly and respectful. The room has a mini fridge, microwave, small table, and a mid-size flat-screen with a good channel selection. The bed is comfortable, the bedding looks clean with no visible stains, and there’s good water pressure with plenty of hot water. Breakfast is very basic, but there’s plenty of good coffee.

The price was good, and they do take pets. They also easily arranged an early check-in, which I appreciated. Still, I don't think I'll come back. The thin little blanket wasn't enough on a cold night, so I had to turn the heater up. If you have long hair, bring your own shampoo: each tiny packet has less than a dime's worth, and it doesn't work well for my hair, which reaches my lower back. My room was at the far end of the hall, where every time the outside door opened or shut, it sounded like someone was trying to get into my room. There was also a big gap between the door and its frame, wide enough for me to see into the hallway, so there wasn't much privacy. I guess a low price can mean fewer amenities.
