Live music rattles the second-floor windows, making it impossible to sleep. The showers all have mold, and the washing machines are always broken. The front desk is never staffed, and calls go unanswered. On top of that, the keycard stops working every day and has to be reset. Absolutely ridiculous.

Nothing seems to get repaired at either property. The whirlpool at Teddys and Little Missouri has been out of service for months under a maintenance notice, but no work has been done. The laundry room has just one working washer out of three. A friend’s heater started sparking and smoking, my first room’s fridge leaked, and the burner in my second room didn’t work. There are stains on multiple carpets too.

We booked rooms so the kids could swim, but both pools were empty, including the one at the sister hotel across the street. The lounge was closed too, and there was no mention of any of this online or at the hotel. It’s misleading to advertise a pool when it’s apparently been empty for months. The rooms looked clean at first, but there were floor stains and a strong sulfur smell in the bathroom. Staff did refund the second night so we could go elsewhere, which I appreciated.

We were in town for a cattle show, and rooms had been blocked for the exhibitors. Friday night, the bartender and cook stayed late and made food for us, so we ate and left after 11. But on Saturday the bar and grill closed before 9, even though the posted hours say 4-11. They said there wasn’t enough business, despite about 15 of us being there and more people coming from the show. I was disappointed, and some of my group say they won’t stay again. Maybe communication fell short, but something clearly did.
