Extended Stay America Select Suites - Milwaukee - Waukesha

We stayed for 3 weeks, or 20 days, during the early February 2026 winter storms. The room felt like a whole house, and I liked the heating and cooling system. The lobby, hallways, laundry area, and room were clean. There are restaurants and a grocery store nearby, and staff are available 24 hours if you need help with your room card. A few things need attention: the key cards sometimes didn’t work, the vending machines were ridiculously expensive, and the room came with only one bar of soap and no other welcome items. The phone and TV were dated and banged up. Also, the coffee photo on your Google listing, and maybe some of the other pictures, are misleading and don’t show what it’s really like. Please take them down.

Octavia has been consistently great with customer service. I really appreciate her and everyone else who works here.

You can clean your own room here. The desk staff are polite and courteous, and they’ll help when you need something. They supplied toilet paper and garbage bags.

Bri was helpful when we needed to get the TV working and asked for a chair. The room itself needs a lot of work. Water keeps leaking from the refrigerator, and the bottom fills up, so I’m constantly using my own towels to soak it up. The stove doesn’t work, which meant I couldn’t cook for us. I went through more than a couple dozen wipes cleaning the refrigerator, microwave, counters, bathroom vanity, and cupboards, and the wipes came away very dirty. There was broken glass in the parking lot, too, and cigarette butts scattered around the grounds.
