Days Inn By Wyndham Wauseon

The bed was nice and the room was clean and updated, with plenty of outlets. I had a couple of electrical problems, but they fixed them promptly. The microwave was odd: when I warmed up my coffee, it seemed to lock and wouldn’t open until I unplugged it. I hadn’t expected a Days Inn Wyndham property to be a strip motel, but the stay was good overall.

The breakfast selection was pretty small, though what they had was clean and good. I stayed in a suite, and it was quiet, cozy, and clean. There was a little rust in the jetted tub, and the shower door wouldn’t stay shut, so water got everywhere. Aside from that, it was a perfect stay, and I’d definitely come back.

We rented two suites for a wedding at the fairgrounds next door, which made the location a huge bonus. The wedding party had plenty of room to relax and leave belongings while we were at the rehearsal dinner and ceremony. Housekeeping kept both rooms immaculate, and the front desk made check-in and checkout easy. The free breakfast, with sausage, eggs, toast, and cereal, was a good value, and the staff let the wedding party keep their little dog with them since the hotel is pet friendly. Both suites had full couches that turned into extra beds. One also had a kitchenette with a full-size fridge, a table and chairs, and a completely private back porch, which would work well for a family. There was lots of room for extra vehicles in the parking lot, and it looked recently redone.

The room was clean, the staff were kind, and the available amenities suited us well. It’s pet friendly, too. Getting there was easy, right off the interstate, and the location worked perfectly for us. We really enjoyed our stay.
