Moondance Cabin by Lightfoot Stays

Seeing bears from the cabin almost every day was the highlight of our trip. We spent six nights at MoonDance with our four kids, ages 7, 5, 3, and 1. It was peaceful to sit on the porch or relax in the hot tub, and the kids had games and toys downstairs. The Wears Valley setting was lovely, with shops, restaurants, and a coffee shop nearby, while Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were close enough for a quick outing. The cabin had all the details and amenities covered, including what we needed to make meals and things for the kids. We only had to bring clothes and groceries. We can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Moondance for our oldest daughter's wedding, traveling with our daughters. My wife Amanda and I couldn't have asked for a better visit. The cabin was extremely clean and well furnished, and we felt well cared for during our stay.

Our family of eight had a great time here. The cabin felt welcoming for kids of every age, and it was clean and peaceful. We found the kitchen well equipped, and the beds were comfortable.

There was loads of room for our family, and the layout worked well across the bedrooms. We came with our six kids, our dog, and our service animal. The owners were kind and understanding, and the place was clean and beautifully maintained, right down to the spotless appliances and tidy yard. We loved the game room, hot tub, porch seating, swing, and yard. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, bakeware, and storage, plus tea bags, sugar, creamer, spices, and snacks. Coffee wasn't provided, but a good coffee shop down the road sells grounds and pods. There were towels in each bathroom with extras for the hot tub, kids' tables and chairs downstairs and on the porch, and a highchair in the closet. We'd happily stay here again. You'd be hard pressed to find a better place.
