We booked the main house and adjacent properties to gather for a nearby memorial service, and it worked perfectly for our family. We brought food in and ate on the back porch instead of going out. We spent so much time there talking, laughing, enjoying the fire feature, having coffee and wine, and watching the sunrise. The furnished cookies and espresso were lovely, and we used all the gift certificates to the bakery down the street. The place was clean and comfortable. Wait until you see the TV in the parlor! Definitely recommend.

The hosts were really nice, and our son got to feed the fish during our stay. It became his morning routine 🙂. We stayed in the Mountain View apartment, which was more spacious than we expected and had everything we needed. Two bathrooms were a big plus, and we enjoyed the deck and its mountain view. We ate dinner from Blue Mountain Pizza out there, also recommended. Downtown is a short walk, and whitewater rafting is about a 20 min drive. I can definitely see our family coming back.

The Forest room was just right for two, with everything we needed, a huge jacuzzi tub, and a super comfortable bed. My husband and I were in town for a wedding at Claxton Farm over the weekend. The town and the place are really cute, and the stay was cozy and quiet. I hope to visit Weaverville again and would definitely choose to stay here. Thanks to the owners for a lovely place.

The breakfasts were wonderful. Each morning we had a beautiful China place setting, fresh homemade muffins, fruit, juice, and coffee while Dan cooked French toast or one of his other delicious creations. Dan and Nancy were gracious, experienced inn keepers, and gave us three lovely nights at one of our favorite B&Bs. The room was roomy, the bed very comfortable, and the beautiful old home was charming and surprisingly quiet. Shops and restaurants in downtown Weaverville are an easy walk away. I’d definitely recommend this Inn to anyone visiting.

The family running the place were friendly without being intrusive, and they made an outstanding breakfast that also took my girlfriend's vegetarian needs into account. They gave us helpful suggestions for things to see and restaurants to try. The house is older but in good repair, with just a sticky door worth mentioning, as with almost any old house. We had a very comfortable bed and a nice jetted tub. We stayed in the second building and couldn’t hear our neighbors at all. The AC was quite loud, so maybe it muffled them. Asheville is far enough away to feel like you’re out of town, though it’s hardly a commute.
