Staybridge Suites Houston-Nasa/Clear Lake by IHG

It really does feel like a home away from home. The service is personal, and the amenities include a lovely pool, a large workout area, and a pickleball court. Monday through Wednesday there’s a social hour with food and drinks, and on special days they hold bingo with nice prizes for guests. You really can’t ask for much more. Beth at the front desk is outstanding, always welcoming and on top of what you need. Mariam and her crew have things well in hand. We were able to move our whole crew over here.

I stayed here for business and work, and the staff were outstanding and respectful. Juanita, Letty, and Isaura in the kitchen and food court were especially respectful. They made sure the food was warm and fresh, and that it stayed stocked and clean. Thumbs up for this hotel. I’ll be back for a longer stay in January.

This happened two months ago, and I’m still waiting for the hotel manager to call me back. No call yet. I drove five hours to stay overnight and arrived late, when there weren’t other hotels available. When I went into the bathroom, there was blood on the toilet. I called the front desk. A staff member came, took a photo, and said someone would contact me. She offered another room, and I took it because I had nowhere else to go. I’m not coming back. It cost $170-$200 a night.

Beth was so kind and understanding when I called around 6:30 in the morning on Labor Day weekend. We had to change our accommodations at the last minute and were worried nothing would be available or that the price would be sky-high. By the time we arrived around 8am, Beth had everything ready and waiting for us. She made sure we were at the top of her list, and her team went above and beyond. Our room was beautiful, with a lovely pool view, a full kitchen, comfortable beds, and a door between the living room and bedroom that gave us a quiet place to rest. We enjoyed our vacation and were so well looked after. Beth’s hospitality will be one of the highlights of our Texas trip.
