West Glacier Cabin Village

We spent three nights in a cabin in the West Glacier/RV park after visiting Glacier National Park, and had an excellent experience. The cabins are clean and modern, with balconies and chairs for relaxing. The camp store served delicious Montana brewed coffee all day, and access to West Glacier and town can’t be beat. I’d look no further than these sweet little cabins for a Glacier visit.

The cabins are cute and quaint, right outside Glacier National Park, but there was no lake view from them despite what the pictures suggested. A train track is VERY nearby, and the noise day and night made peace impossible. We also weren’t told on Expedia about the $250 non negotiable damage deposit. It’s meant to cover damage, but the cost of the stay becomes nonrefundable once you arrive. If you don’t have the deposit money, you lose the cost of your stay too. We want other families to know these details before reserving, as we would have liked to know them.

Our cabin was spacious and had more than we needed. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. What a gem. WOW, thanks for giving us such a wonderful place to stay.

We loved our cute cabin. It was new, well equipped, and conveniently located. Having AC was nice during the unexpected heat wave, and the online survey for choosing when we wanted housekeeping was handy too.
