The staff were amazing and accommodating, and there were lots of nice little touches. I just wish I’d enjoyed the stay more. The hotel is old and small, with weak water pressure, nowhere to sit in the room, and windows that don’t block sound. They moved us after the first night because of noise from the elevator, upstairs, and next door, but the next room was even louder. Facing the city, its old balcony doors let in club noise, drunk people, sirens, and traffic until early morning.

I love staying here when I come twice a year to see family in the Valley. I’ve been twice, once in a Cottage Room and once in a Cozy Room, and liked both. The Valley is a bit of a drive, but I don’t mind because I like this hotel so much. The rooms are beautiful, and I’m a fan of designer Rita Konig. Staff are very attentive, and the hotel is also close to the airport. It’s a real gem.

We spent just one night at 850 SVB and had a great time. The property is beautiful, a real gem in the middle of the big city. We loved having coffee on the porch in the morning and wine there in the evening. Hope we can stay again.

The thoughtful service made everything easy, starting with communication before arrival and continuing when the hotel accepted a delivery and had it in my room before check-in. The staff were especially ready to help. I left an exotic rental car overnight and told them the company would pick it up in the morning. They assured me it would be parked safely and waiting out front at the exact time, and handled it as smoothly as everything else. Hotel 850 SVT is the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed at, and the only place I’ll choose when I’m in LA. It sets the bar for boutique hospitality.

Seven nights here were just perfect. The hotel was immaculate, the service was great, and breakfast had lovely pastries and coffee. Josh helped make the stay even better. We’ll definitely make this our go-to hotel for our many WEHO visits.
