John Thomas Bed and Bath

John made my stay peaceful and healing while I was going through the difficult experience of seeing my dad at St. Francis Hospital. He even drove me to the hospital in the rain. The neighborhood and shops are amazing, and everything is completely walkable. The price was affordable, and the rooms are large, stunning, and well furnished. From the minute you arrive, you get Southern hospitality. Hands down, the best B and B I’ve ever stayed in. The stay is unfortunately over, but thanks, John!

A lovely option for a couple, and a bargain for the price. The room was beautifully appointed, with stained glass windows and lampshades. We could easily walk to several good restaurants, with more across the bridge.

We found a little gem for our weekends visiting friends in Monroe, and the Carriage room was just right for us. The host greeted my wife and me around 8 pm and showed us around after we arrived. Even making the reservation by phone was an enjoyable experience. Thanks for the pleasant stay and wonderful hosting. We’ll be back whenever we visit our friends.

I stayed in the main house, and John had water, soda, snacks, and a microwave ready in my room. His warmth and attentiveness made the place feel welcoming, and he shared stories and recommendations. I left feeling like I’d made a friend. The cozy atmosphere and charming decor made it easy to relax, too.
