Hampton Inn & Suites Ocean City West

We came for a short visit with old friends last week. The beds were comfortable, and the linens and towels were nice. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Our room wasn’t quite right at check-in, but Chandler sorted it out and then some. He was pleasant and helpful, always smiling, and deserves recognition for his customer service. We’d definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed here for the past few years and have always been pleased. The rooms were clean and recently updated, and every staff member we encountered, including people working behind the scenes, was efficient, warm, and friendly. No wonder the location was voted number two in the nation. Hope it makes number one next year, it would be well deserved. Highly recommend it.

We’re back for our third summer in a row, and the whole hotel and our room were impressively clean. It’s only about a five-minute drive to the boardwalk and beach. It was nice seeing familiar faces again. Orlando was helpful when we needed to change our stay, and Chandler was cheerful and hospitable, even remembering our family. Greg, the general manager, was kind enough to upgrade our room and give us the best rate. Keep up the great work, team!

I changed this review after staying longer. I’d had three bad experiences, two involving Andrew and one involving Angela, but with more time they seem like isolated incidents. The staff overall have been great. Greg Jones, the manager, seems to keep things running smoothly, and Chandler has been the most helpful staff member I’ve dealt with so far. At first, I asked Angela at the front desk for help and she just shrugged and said, “I dunno.” That felt wild for Ocean City hospitality.
