Green Harbor Resort

The people who work here are amazing, and we feel lucky to have such a lovely place for our vacations. We come several times each summer and can't imagine staying anywhere else. The views are beautiful, and they have great rooms where we can stay with our small dog.

It was quiet and never felt overcrowded, with lovely grounds, a private beach, and a safe, fun setting for kids. There were activities for them every day, and everyone on staff we met was so friendly and accommodating. We loved our week here and are planning to return next year.

The cottage gave our family plenty of room, with a kitchen, several bedrooms, and a shared living room. We especially liked the playground and mini golf, including the flower bed on a couple of holes. Borrowing bikes made it easy to explore the quiet neighborhood, and the staff were so friendly, like old friends. We used the place as a base for exploring Cape Cod. It was close enough to get around the cape, while the drive back wasn't much longer, and the area felt quieter than the more touristy spots. The peaceful feel made me wish we'd stayed longer. I don't usually return to the same place, but we might come back another year.

Last year our little one loved the kiddie pool at Riviera, the white sand beach, shell hunting, mini golf, and the big playground at Green Harbor. The playground has since been updated, and I hope they add more. This visit had better wind, which was a plus, but he mostly wanted to stay at GH and swim in the pool. We also made it to the Heritage Museum and Gardens on a drizzly day, and it was awesome. I'd highly recommend it. We adore Green Harbor's location right on the Bay, and being able to use amenities across Red Jacket is great. This was our second stay, and the staff deserve kudos for taking care of and maintaining the resort. We hope to come back and get in some shuffleboard.
