The elevators were out for our whole stay and only started working on checkout day. With a room upstairs, we had to carry our bags up and down several flights of stairs every day, which was exhausting after hiking in Yellowstone. The staff apologized and tried to help, but it was still a real hassle. We liked the location, right by the west entrance to the park, so getting in each morning was easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable, our room was spacious and well equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful with local tips and park recommendations. We also liked the amenities, and restaurants and shops were an easy walk away. Despite the elevator trouble, we had a good experience overall and would consider staying again, hopefully when the elevators work.

Steve and Sharon were a pleasure to see each evening when we came back from Yellowstone. They were polite, friendly, and always happy to chat, so we looked forward to seeing them. Linda was also very helpful on the phone the day before we arrived, even though we never met in person. The front desk staff were all friendly and knew the area well. The rooms were comfortable and nice, and the location was great, only a few miles from the West Yellowstone National Park entrance. If we come back this way, we know where we’ll stay.
Breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip through the west, and the place was quiet. The folks working there were super nice, and our room was very clean. One annoyance was the loud bathroom fan, since it came on with the light on the same switch. The hotel is on the west side of West Yellowstone, so we had to drive through town to get back to Yellowstone. It wasn’t a big deal. We’d definitely stay again.
The room above ours had floors that squeaked constantly, which was the one thing we didn’t like about being on the ground floor. Otherwise, it was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and very clean, breakfast had a nice variety and was really good, and the front desk staff were friendly. We’d stay again, but would ask for an upper floor.
Almost $500 for one night felt unbelievable. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the bedding smelled musty, and the bathroom was tiny. The one bright spot was the helpful front desk staff.
