The Hotel Maria

The beach is right across the street, and even with awful weather we could still enjoy the Misquamicut festival and its activities for kids. We were there for my husband’s 40th birthday with our 4-year-old, and the hotel made the weekend feel special. The hosts were warm and attentive, and surprised us with an upgrade to a spotless, roomy ocean-view suite that worked perfectly for our family. I especially appreciated the pastry station being open all day and night, with fresh egg muffins in the morning, pastries later on, and fresh milk for our daughter. The Italian restaurant downstairs was both convenient and delicious, though book ahead because it fills up fast. It was a quieter weekend, but the service was still exceptional. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

We came for Valentine’s Day weekend to visit our son, who lives nearby, and Patrick went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help make the stay memorable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were more than perfect. We felt treated like family while still having our own space. Had a great time, and I’d recommend The Hotel Maria to anyone.

My daughter was here for her first 1/2 marathon, and we both had a lovely stay this past week. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed, and those little evening touches, water and chocolates, were one of many extras. Everyone was kind and accommodating. I can’t remember all the names, but Sebastian, Christine and Patrick deserve a big shout out for making the visit fun and memorable. Thanks!

The place was spotless and well cared for, and even smelled clean. Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our room was nicely appointed, the location was close to the beach, and we felt safe. I’d definitely come back.
