It’s a practical place to stay for work, a road trip stop, or a weekend in Denver. Restaurants, shopping, and attractions are nearby, and the free parking and complimentary breakfast helped keep things affordable and easy. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is a big plus if you’re traveling with a dog. I found the location especially convenient, between downtown Denver and Boulder, with easy access to the highway. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably. It was quiet enough to unwind after a long day exploring Colorado. For a budget-friendly hotel, it’s good value compared with many nearby places.

All night there were dogs barking. I’ve never had trouble getting a deposit back elsewhere, and I’m a very clean person who doesn’t damage things. We arrived, went to sleep, got up, showered, and left. We didn’t eat or drink anything there. I always clean up after myself and, since I’ve worked in housekeeping, I strip the bed and leave everything in a neat pile to make the job easier. They kept my deposit, claiming the sheets were stained. The sheets were stained when I took them off, and the mattress cover had some kind of stain too, so they’re charging me for linens that were already stained. I feel like they’re trying to scam me. I also saw them try to charge my card $50 twice and then $20. Thank goodness I’d moved the money to another account. That’s illegal without the cardholder’s consent!

The main manager is a horrible person. I was 1,800 miles from home and had already stayed one night. My ownership was confirmed with two forms of ID, and my deposit was paid. I had money to pay for a third night and wanted to extend using the virtual card on file, but she put us out in the cold anyway. It wasn’t just an employee saying “oh well.” I wish I could get my money back, or keep it, fire that lady, and promote the gentleman who actually cares about people. Never again. I’ll stay with Choice or Hilton.

We checked a second room and decided neither was clean enough for our son and dog, so we left. Management refunded only one night of our two-night booking and wouldn’t discuss returning the pet fee even though our fur baby never stayed. I didn’t have the energy to argue, and she shot back that she was incapable of helping us. Don’t stop here, it’ll waste your time while you have to find somewhere else. The bed had been made, but the sheets were dirty, with glitter, hair, and a bug on them. The comforter, chair, and wall had various liquid stains. I’ve slept in my sleeping bag in a few places while traveling, but I wouldn’t put it through stains like these. Management came across as incompetent at best and terrible people at worst.
