Comfort Inn Wichita Falls Near University

We had to pay for our visit twice after the other Comfort Inn canceled our nonrefundable reservation, even though we’d paid through Saturday and got no help. At this location, Beverly was kind and understanding, got us booked, and went above and beyond for my granddaughter. This Comfort Inn helped make up for the bad experience at the other one. The atmosphere and cleanliness here were far better than at the North location. Thank you.

Andrea was the first person we met, and she was just the sweetest. This place did things right. We’d only needed somewhere to crash on the way to Santa Fe, NM, but it was affordable and clean, with a nice bed and linens. The lamps had all the plug-ins we needed, and there was a nice fitness room for a quick workout. Then we got a Texas-sized, Texas-shaped breakfast before heading back on the road. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

The manager called when I was already three hours down the road, trying to beat incoming weather on the way back to Colorado. I’d accidentally left my small day pack in the room, and the cleaning staff had turned it in. I couldn’t go back for it, so the manager kindly took my mailing details and sent it to me. I appreciate that so much. The room was clean, the bed really comfortable, and breakfast was tasty. Sincere, kind, top-notch service at this Comfort Inn.

We randomly chose this hotel as a place to stop, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rooms are very small, though ours had a mini fridge and microwave. The first-floor bathroom was clean and accessible, and the towels were a decent size. There’s an indoor pool, but the water was pretty chilly, along with a hot tub. We saw a baby cockroach on the nightstand. It disappeared when we tried to kill it, and I struggled to fall asleep afterward. The beds were very hard, with the springs easy to feel, and we could hear people stomping around upstairs.
