The room and common areas were clean, the internet worked well, and breakfast at the bistro was good. The man on the 7-3 shift on May 16 was especially helpful, professional, and kind. I didn't get his name.

The room felt neglected, with ripped lampshades, and the bed was hard and made a loud knock whenever anyone sat on it. It seemed as if the frame might be loose or broken, and I worried the whole bed could give way. The internet kept dropping out and barely worked, so even trying to watch a movie at night became frustrating. When we brought these problems to the front desk, the staff were rude and dismissive, and didn't try to help or offer a solution. With the unreliable connection, uncomfortable noisy bed, worn room, and unhelpful staff, this was an extremely disappointing stay. I'd strongly suggest choosing another place.

The staff were very kind, and I paid less than $100 for the night, which felt fair. My room was clean, though some of the past repairs looked patchy. It's an older place, and the rooms show their age.

From the lobby, the hotel made a good first impression, but the suite was another story. My husband started sneezing as soon as we got in. There was dust that looked weeks old, trash and tissue crumbs around the beds, and crumbs in the beds themselves. The mattress had a large urine stain, and the shower leaked constantly. I called the front desk within ten minutes. The woman offered to move us from the second floor to the fourth, saying cleaning should be better there, but the new room was worse. The dust was still there, the fridge had old drinks in it, the showerhead was broken, and the towels were stained. I cleaned the room myself because my granddaughter was with us and needed to rest before her tournament early the next morning. I've always liked Marriott, but this was the worst hotel I've stayed in. The appearance was misleading, and I won't come back. I'd recommend checking the room before unpacking. I'm praying we don't get home with bed bugs. If they don't clean well, I assume pest control and maintenance may suffer too. The site wouldn't let me add the video we took.
