There was lots of grassy space to take my dog out, and restaurants and convenience stores all around. Even though the place is by the freeway, I couldn't hear any traffic. It was very clean, the management was exceptional, the maids were nice, and maintenance was superb. I was very satisfied with my stay. :-)

I stayed at the deluxe for a week. On the first floor, the tub in our room was spitting out paper towels and hair ties. The woman at the front desk asked if I had let them go back down the drain, as though I was supposed to. I told her, ma'am, that's not my job, and we moved to the second floor. That room wasn't much better. If you have a couple extra dollars, splurge on somewhere else. Have a blessed day.

I've stayed there four times now, and each visit I'm struck by how kind and thoughtful the staff are and how clean the rooms are. I've seen the negative reviews, but maybe some people expect Four Seasons service for $40 a night. That won't happen. If you want the amenities of a three-to-five-star hotel, pay $150 to $1,000 a night and stop complaining. For an affordable, clean overnight stop off a dark, lonely highway that accepts furry friends, Motel6 is perfect.
