Delano Bed and Breakfast

Sherri’s breakfast was so good it was hard to find a reason to get out of bed. She served something delicious each morning, with lots of teas to pick from. Sherri and Keith made us feel welcome, and they happily handled our special requests. The house is beautiful, the neighborhood quiet, and the bed really comfortable. Staying here felt like being with family you actually enjoy. We’ll come back next time we’re in town.

We could have spent ages on the porch, just watching things go by. The garden greenery and cute decor give the place such a calm, storybook feel. Sherri and Keith greeted us with snacks and drinks, and our room was charming, especially the beautiful, very comfortable four-poster bed. Breakfast included homemade yogurt with fresh berries, sweet and creamy. Sherri was so kind that she even shared a family recipe with my boyfriend for us to try at home. 10/10, and we’d stay again when we’re nearby.

Our family tea party, with four women and two little kids, turned into such a memorable afternoon. Sherri made delicious food and included plenty of gluten-free choices for my daughter, serving it all on charming antique dishes. She also showed us around the lovely gardens and told us about the history of the house. She was a very sweet, attentive host. I’d happily recommend the experience.

Sherri and Keith have clearly put a lot of care into this beautiful old home, and they were generous, considerate hosts. It feels quiet and almost small-town here, even though you’re in the city, and getting to major roads is easy. A comfortable, welcoming place. We’ll definitely return.
