SpringHill Suites by Marriott Wichita East at Plazzio

The room was large and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was good. I wasn’t thrilled with the pillows, but they were okay. Check-in was easy, and the front desk staff were polite. There were quite a few kids during my stay, and they all enjoyed the pool. The gym has a water bottle refill station, and there was a hot complimentary breakfast. Service was good, and the hotel is in a good area.

We loved this property enough to book it again for our drive back north after stopping here on the way south. The mobile check-in and key worked smoothly and quickly. We’ve stayed over ten nights at Marriott this month, and this was the only property to get that exactly right. The parking lot had plenty of room and was clean, and the lobby was spotless. Front desk staff greeted us warmly every time we came and went, which made us feel welcome. Our recently updated room was spacious and clean, great for a family. Breakfast was a highlight too. It had all the usual Marriott choices, clearly labeled, which helped our vegan and vegetarian family, and the breakfast attendant was kind and helped my kids get their food. SpringHill Suites exceeded our expectations, and we’d absolutely stay again.

Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were great, but the public bathroom downstairs clearly wasn’t getting much attention. There was trash by the pool for two days, and we’ll be here until Thursday. I was going to see how long it took someone to notice the bathroom, but with so many people here I’d be really upset if there were no toilet paper. I already had to dry my hands with the only box of Kleenex on the counter because there were no paper towels.

The hospitality really made our first stay at a SpringHill Suites a pleasure, and we were impressed with the service. I loved Mrs. Janet’s personality. I even offered to buy her a coffee anywhere, but she said no, thank you. Mrs. Teresa helped me at checkout, and I told her how much I’d enjoyed the stay. I didn’t catch the name of the woman at the breakfast bar, but my parents don’t eat pork and she went to the back herself to make them turkey sausages. We really appreciated the hospitality and will book again.
