For such a cheap place compared with others, it was decent, and I would stay again. The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean. I didn't see any cockroaches or rodents. The staff were nice, cooperative, and gave good service. Internet is free, just ask for the password. The room was small and the walls were dirty, so I wouldn't give it four stars. Maybe 2 1/2 or 3. I'm not sure whether they have a room with two beds, so ask if you're traveling with more than two people or don't want to share.

I only booked a week for $225, so I wasn’t expecting the Ritz, but the room looked old and worn from the start. The owner assured me it was clean. I was tired from traveling and went straight to sleep. On Friday night, my second night there, I kept waking up to phone calls and loud knocking from people looking for someone. I let that go, and appreciated that the owner brought extra pillows when I asked. The food we’d bought for the week was eaten by mice the next day. I tried to overlook that too because of the price and location, until that night, when mice were running around the room and I saw a bedbug crawling on my pillow. When I reached for a paper towel to deal with it, there was another bedbug on the towel. It was 1 a.m., and I knew we had to leave. The owner said he’d spray in the morning if I stayed, but refused a full refund when I asked to change rooms and get my money back. After we talked it through, he threatened to report me for having my daughter with me and not having her in school. I legally homeschool her and had already explained that to him after saying I wouldn’t be able to leave a good review. He then offered a partial refund. I had to accept so I could get us out of there, though I was stunned he wouldn’t refund the full amount. I also lost food and had to wash all our belongings after staying in those nearly unlivable conditions. I should have been concerned when I saw beds outside the rooms, probably because of bedbugs. In the middle of the night I went down the street to imperial motel. The owner there let me look at two rooms and choose one. Both were clean, quiet, and bigger, and the weekly price was $45 less. I rarely write reviews unless a stay is great or terrible. This one was terrible.

I paid $40 a night, but the rooms were dirty and room service came whenever they got around to it. There’s no handicap access to either the office or the rooms. At night, people were trying to get into rooms, and there were junkies and activity outside my door at all hours. I called the police twice and the front desk on three nights. I can’t recommend this place.
