Hampton Inn & Suites Wilder

The room was warm, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was a plentiful hot buffet. We were there during a snowstorm, and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were always available. The staff were friendly and around when needed. A very comfortable stay.

We had to book a last-minute night here while traveling for the holidays, and the room didn’t seem fully cleaned. There were someone’s leftovers in the fridge and a used, dirty rag in the shower, which made me uncomfortable. This hotel has potential, but cleanliness needs serious improvement.

I picked this hotel because it was closer to downtown, but I don’t know who gave it a good rating. The sheets on my bed weren’t clean, as the photo shows. Downstairs, the coffee was cold, like they hadn’t made a fresh batch. And breakfast was literally slices of boiled ham. Whose idea was that?

My room was fantastic and the hotel was clean, but the water is the reason I’m giving three stars. I stayed in room 106 for three nights and checked out this morning. Every morning there was no hot water, and in the evenings it was lukewarm at best. I’ve seen lots of other people complain about the same thing for a while, and it needs to be addressed. Ice-cold morning showers are a terrible way to start the day.
