The huge balcony with patio furniture was a great feature, and we also got to use a guest grill. While we grilled by the pool, the kids had a blast swimming. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel was beautifully updated, and the location made getting around easy, just a block from the Boardwalk with restaurants all around. It was a gem for our family, and we’re already planning another trip.

Memorial Day weekend was an utter disaster for me and my friends. The room looked clean at first, but don’t be fooled. We searched for about 20 seconds and found multiple bed bugs. There were alcohol cans in the pool and food at the bottom too. If you’re thinking of booking, save your time and money and stay home.

The showers had good pressure and the water got hot, but the pool was too cold to swim in. One mattress was uncomfortable, though the other one was fine. The rooms were small, with only three drawers and no clothes hangers. There wasn’t a coffee pot or cups, and the small fridge didn’t have a freezer.

We had a good time here over Labor Day weekend, me and my kids included. There’s a nice deck to relax on, and the pool area was clean and had grills. The place is conveniently located down the strip from the boardwalk, bars, restaurants, a liquor store, and a club that stays open until 3am if you’re looking to party.

If it seems too cheap to be true, this hotel, motel, dive certainly is. Please don’t stay here. You’d have a better chance of avoiding mold, dirt, bugs, and who knows what else by sleeping under the boardwalk.
