The pool setup was a nice bonus: it was clean, and there were ping-pong and grill areas available, though we didn’t use them. The location was good, and our two rooms looked clean when we arrived. We stayed two nights, but the humidity in the rooms was so strong that even the air conditioning couldn’t clear the smell. Noise from the pool, cleaning staff talking, and other rooms was bothersome at times. The service was average. It’s a very dated motel, and given how much money it likely brings in, some upgrades seem overdue. We booked at the last minute because it was the only place near the boardwalk with availability. Next time I’d consider staying farther away for better quality.

We’ve tried several places in Wildwood, and this has been our favorite so far. The location is hard to beat, right at the start of the boardwalk and about a block from the beach. We stayed in room 212, which had a lovely ocean view and plenty of space, with two rooms, a kitchenette, and a full-size fridge. The beds were really comfortable, the pool was very clean, and the outdoor area had picnic tables and two grills for barbecues. The front desk staff were friendly. We’d happily recommend it!

The location may seem like a plus, but it’s noisy. For $300 a night at the end of August, I expected far better. Our room had three dirty pillows, a suspicious stain on the headboard, no hot water, and a TV that worked without sound. There were no proper bath towels, just rags and face towels, and the water was lukewarm at best. You wouldn’t want to shower anyway. When I brought up some of these problems, the front desk staff seemed confused, questioned each complaint, and offered no real response or even an apology. I understand summer weekend prices can be high, but charging $300 for a room in that condition and so poorly prepared was outrageous. This is a very dated hotel, and it felt like they were taking people’s money. Don’t stay here or waste your hard-earned money.

The room was clean apart from the carpet, which I can live with in a Wildwood beach hotel. The bathroom was spotless and the beds were comfortable, and I thought the woman at the front desk was really nice. The pool was extremely clean and well maintained, with cleaning every night. It’s handy for the beach, though a bit far from the boardwalk entrance, so we took the jitney for $3. Honestly, it wasn’t bad at all. I’d stay again.

We were in town for the country music festival and stayed one night. For the price, it was an easy, enjoyable visit, and we’ll come back. The room was spacious, with a table and chairs, and the fridge was a decent size for a hotel room. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was cute and sufficient. The place has an outdated look, though some might call it old-school vintage. Staff were nice, especially the woman at the desk who gave us walking directions to the festival. We didn’t use the pool, but saw lots of people there. I liked that there’s a gated kiddy pool beside the main one, plus two grills and a covered table-and-bench area for cooking outdoors. There was plenty of poolside seating.
