For a place that feels like a second home, Garfield Beach House is comfortable and affordable, especially with Shore vacation prices these days. There are options from one to four bedrooms, so it works for a couple’s weekend or a family trip. I like having a kitchenette and grill since I don’t mind cooking while away, and the upper-level porches have nice views. The location is a big reason it stays on my list of Wildwood recommendations. It’s two blocks from the sizable beach and a short walk from two major Morey's Piers. My favorite place in the world is the Wildwood boardwalk, and it’s so convenient to be this close. There are also cheap eats nearby, including Dragon House and Alumni Grill, two of my favorite joints in town. Mack's pizza is an easy walk too, and it’s one of the best pizza spots on a boardwalk full of great ones. I can park the car for the week and reach everything my family needs on foot.

We had a fun girls’ getaway here. The unit was cozy and sparkling clean, and we really appreciated the nearby parking. Lots of places to eat are close by, and the beach and boardwalk are walkable. We were happy to bring our pups along, too.

The owners were helpful and ready to handle any requests we had, and we’ll definitely stay again on our next vacation. Our unit was very clean and spacious, with plenty of room for our family of four. The place is in the heart of Wildwood, a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk, close to Morey's Piers, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and other points of interest. A great vacation spot by the beach.

Christian was a big help, getting us in on short notice and assisting with anything we needed during the stay. The apartment was spacious enough, with full-size kitchen facilities and a crisp, neatly made bed in the bedroom. We were glad to find a pet-friendly place where our pet was happy too. When we opened the front door into the hall, the clean smell was a lovely welcome after some other places we’ve stayed. The cleanliness continued in the apartment. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or stay again.

The place was clean and the people were very nice. They say no dogs over 50 pounds, but if you’re honest and give your dog’s real weight, they’ll let you stay. Lots of guests bring dogs. It’s about 1,000 feet from the beach and boardwalk, and costs a little more because it’s close to everything. Overall, a really good place to stay.
