The Shore House

We got help carrying our bags up to the room, and the heated pool was a great touch. They also had bikes, beach chairs, and umbrellas to use. The rooms were clean and cutely decorated, with lots of amenities, and the staff communicated well and gave us amazing service. Such a cute little place, couldn’t recommend it more!

The rooms are on the small side, but if you're in Wildwood you probably won't spend much time in them. Room 36 had a comfortable bed, an updated bathroom, a small refrigerator, and a TV that was fine. The whole property was unbelievably clean, and dogs are welcome. I also enjoyed talking with the owner and head housekeeper, who were both very pleasant. The pool and its lounge areas, fabric cabanas, and other touches were nice too. We booked it for one night because our weekend lodging didn't open until the following day and we wanted to get down earlier. If we're back in the Wildwoods, I'll check this place again. Just keep in mind there are no elevators.

The pink and white striped boho umbrellas, faux turf sun deck, daybeds, and cabanas make the place look like something out of a magazine. It reminded me of a high-end motel in Palm Springs. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and families with or without pets seem to be well accommodated. Lots of Wildwood motels are aging, so it's nice to see a property bringing fresh life to the nostalgic beach town while keeping its historic charm. The Shore house is a must stay!

My husband surprised me with a birthday stay, and the room was already beautifully decorated when I walked in. We ended up adding another night, and the clean space is very accessible to all of Wildwood. Our puppies could come along too. I've been visiting Wildwood my whole life, and this was my best visit yet. Thanks, Diego, for making us feel so welcome and accommodating. We'll be back for sure.
