Highlander Motel

I was in town for the Grand Canyon and only needed the basics, and this room had everything I needed. It was very clean, with plenty of hot water, which was a nice surprise. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The motel is on Historic Route 66 right next to a Safeway, and downtown, with lots of good food and fun things to see and do, is a short walk away. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Save yourself the trouble and spend a little more. They double-booked rooms, and people were getting into occupied rooms because every room uses the same door code. Guests were arguing outside our room, and there’s no deadbolt for extra security. The whole facility was dark, no staff were on site to help with anything, and the power kept flickering. A total disappointment.

The owner was really kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean with what you need, including a microwave and coffee maker. It’s close to Williams’ main street, so restaurants and shops are nearby.

My room was small, but it was all I needed, and it was clean. It had a refrigerator, coffee maker, TV, and microwave, and the price was very good. The man at reception was so kind and accommodating. The location works well for visiting the Grand Canyon, about an hour’s drive back. Getting to the park can take longer if there are lines at the entrance. I’d stay here again.
