We spent most of our four nights out exploring, but it was always nice to return to the spotless, roomy Azalea Suite, with its made bed, fresh towels, and clean drinking water. The housekeeping staff did a great job. Angela made the stay feel like a visit with family, sharing stories about the house and her family, plus useful ideas for local restaurants and attractions. She also asked about our plans each day so she could tailor her advice. We chose the daily breakfast, and it was worth the cost. Angela cooked something fresh and different every morning, like having our own little diner downstairs, and we didn’t have to head out and wait in lines. Colonial Gardens Bed and Breakfast gave us comfort, local character, and genuinely warm hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Williamsburg.

Angela made us feel right at home at Colonial Gardens. My husband and I came for a short Colonial Williamsburg getaway, and the B&B made the trip feel extra special. We really enjoyed getting to know Angela, our hostess and the owner, and felt comfortable throughout our stay.

We stayed in the Rhododendron Suite, and the room was airy and elegant with colonial touches. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and we loved the bedding and pillows. The bathroom was roomy and spotless, with a wonderful shower. Angela made our elopement feel full of love, from the beautiful flowers, table settings, and altar to all the thoughtful little details. She even helped me get into my corset wedding gown. She’s kind, warm, and easy to communicate with. Breakfast was fantastic too, and we felt relaxed at the lovely table. Angela asked how we wanted our eggs and whether we’d like more of anything. She really went above and beyond to make our time special. We’re looking forward to coming back to this B&B soon. For tea parties or bridal and baby showers, you’d be in great hands with Angela.

Angela was a wonderful host, and the house is beautiful. Breakfast was lovely too. The location made it easy to visit Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown. Highly recommend!
