Inn at 605

The breakfast was the biggest letdown after all the glowing reviews. We arrived less than 15 minutes after it started at 8:30, but all the eggs were gone. There was just one slice of bacon left, cold and undercooked, and the pastries didn’t seem fresh daily. We went elsewhere for breakfast on our second day. The location is excellent, close to Colonial Williamsburg and the W&M campus. The rooms have an old-fashioned look that’s kind of charming, but felt below the standard for pricier places.

We rented the whole house for family lodging during my son’s wedding weekend, and the indoor and outdoor seating worked perfectly for a brunch buffet for 40 catered by owner Laura’s catering company. We were lucky with the weather, too. Every room had a full bathroom, and the TVs had nice streaming options. Trish made delicious breakfast each morning. It’s hard to beat the location for getting to William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg. Highly recommend!

Laura, thank you for a wonderful stay at 605. There were 11 of us, with plenty of space, and every room had a full bath, sitting area, and TV. Our host was kind and available whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was unbeatable and made right there each morning. We could walk to all the places we wanted to visit. I’d gladly return someday and highly recommend the inn.

We only had a few days at this beautiful B&B in June, and it wasn’t nearly enough. The family-run inn was the best. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. We could walk to Colonial Williamsburg, wander around the William and Mary campus, and get to plenty of good restaurants and shops. We can’t wait to visit the Inn@605 again!
